Hi, I am Cha and Today I will be talking about 5 reasons why they can be sick and how to take care of them when those happen.
-Eye Guck If you notice a yellowish sticky kind of liquid coming out of your kitten eyes then it might be because they have eye infection, allergies or irritation. Trying wiping with a damp towel, if it keeps coming back and you started that it is blocking our kitten’s eye take them to the vet.
-White gum A healthy kittens should have pinkish gums and if yours don’t it is mostly a sign of anemia and you should take then to the vet.
-Swollen stomach If your kitten have a swollen stomach, it might be just because they are overeating. Try to control their diet by giving them a smaller amount. If this is not working then it might be because they have intestinal worms. You can take them to the vet and get a dewormer.
-Energy Keep an eye on your kitten behavior because if their behavior changes it can mean many things such as serious cases or not so serious cases. If an energetic kitten change to a lazy kitten or if a lazy kitten changes to an energetic kitten.
-Not eating If your kitten is not eating or not eating enough this might be a sign of them having an upset tummy. trying giving them sometime mild like pure chicken stock to get them eating them. If this doesn’t work then take them to the vet.
